Paul Ugwu Abba

He has extensive experience as a legal practitioner in Nigeria, having worked for a few top commercial law firms in Nigeria for 5 years before joining us in 2017. He has also worked as a Contract Specialist at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in Nigeria where he was involved in procurement and supply chain management issues in relation to vendors and other suppliers of goods and services for the company. He frequently advises multinationals and government corporations in cases involving industrial labour relations, environmental law and policy, oil and gas contracting and practice and petroleum finance and taxation.

Paul is an accomplished author and has written books and published articles on industrial labour law and environmental law and policy.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (First Class Honours) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and an LLM (With Distinction) in Energy and Environmental Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, UK. He is currently a Doctoral Student in Environmental Law at the University of Exeter, UK.
